For operators and partners
Distribution and your website
Your trips can be booked from more places than ASRA: your own website, and partner sites that send bookers your way. Every booking lands in the same dashboard, on the same calendar, whichever site it came from.
Put booking on your website
One snippet, pasted where you want it on the page. It works on any site builder that lets you add HTML, such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or Webflow, with no plugin. You don't need to write it yourself: in your dashboard, Set up → Booking widget builds these with your trip names filled in.
A trip card
Photo, name, starting price and a Book now button that opens the booking in a popup.
<div data-booking-widget data-product="half-day-charter"></div>
<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" async></script>All your trips
A compact list of every published trip, each opening the booking popup.
<div data-booking-widget data-operator="your-business"></div>
<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" async></script>The whole booking, on your page
Date, time, guests, extras and details all run inside your page instead of a popup. It resizes itself as the guest moves through the steps, so don't give it a fixed height.
<div data-booking-widget data-mode="inline" data-product="half-day-charter"></div>
<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" async></script>When a booking completes, the widget fires a booking:confirmed event on its element, with the booking id in event.detail. Use it for analytics or a thank-you page.

<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" async></script>Partners
A partner is a local business whose visitors want your trips: a campsite, a lodge, a tackle shop, a travel blog. It shows your trips on its own site, and the bookings it sends come straight to you. Nobody pays a commission.
A partner can be a business that only partners, or another operator: every business on ASRA has one login, with a Trips side and a Partnering side. A campsite that works with you and three other guides has one verified website and one script on its site that lists all four of you. Each of you connects with it separately.
- Your partners are under Partnering → Partners in your dashboard, with each other's trips on your websites and any packages you sell together. ASRA doesn't run a partner program of its own.
- You can partner too. Open Partnering and press Start partnering to sell other operators' trips on your own site, on the same login.
Working with one
- 1
Connect
Invite a partner by email from Partnering → Partners. If its business already partners on ASRA and the email is its owner’s, it’s connected straight away; if not, you get a link to send: they sign up, or sign in if they already run trips here. - 2
Pause or end it any time
Either side can end it: your trips come off the partner’s site straight away, and the partner is emailed if you were the one who ended it. You can also pause it to take your trips off for a while. - 3
They do the rest
The partner verifies its website and puts its script on its site from its Partnering workspace. Your trips show up there as soon as you’re connected.
How a partner gets credit for a booking
- Its script, on a website it has verified. One snippet lists every operator it's connected with. It carries everything; the partner's site decides what to show. A site that can only paste a snippet gets every trip, laid out by operator (
data-layoutcan make it one grid, or group by kind of trip):
<div data-booking-widget data-partner="mardon-campground"></div>
<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" async></script>A site that can run code takes the trips as data and builds its own sections: a Hunting row across every operator, the same trips split by charter, one operator on its own page. Each trip comes with a booking link already credited to the partner.
<script src="https://asrawest.com/embed.js" data-partner="mardon-campground"></script>
<script>
BookingEmbed.partnerTrips().then(({ trips }) => {
const hunting = trips.filter((t) => t.categories.includes('hunting'));
// render hunting however you like; link each to t.bookUrl
});
</script>- A single trip or operator widget with
data-partneradded (or set once on the<script>tag), for a partner placing one trip in an article.data-refis an optional label that shows on the booking. - A referral link from its dashboard, for anywhere else: a newsletter, social media, a text. If someone clicks it and books within 30 days, the partner gets the credit. The last click counts.
The script only credits a booking to the partner on a website it has verified; pasted anywhere else it still takes bookings but credits nobody. Nothing is paid for a booking a partner sends: it records where the booking came from, for both of you.
Verifying a website
This proves the partner really runs the site its script is on. The partner does it once, from Partnering → Partner widgets, and it counts for every operator it works with.
- 1
Copy the tag
Each website on the dashboard has its own tag, which looks like the one below. - 2
Add it to the homepage
Paste it inside the<head>of the homepage. Most site builders have a “header code” or “custom code” setting for this. It's invisible to visitors. - 3
Check it
Press Check now. ASRA fetches the homepage over https and looks for the tag. The tag can come off once it’s verified.
<meta name="asra-partner-verification" content="(your code)">A partner who can't edit its site's code can ask ASRA to verify it by hand.
For developers
Partners who build their own listings pages can pull trips from the ASRA feed with an API key, and get a signed webhook for each booking they referred. Partners set these up under Partnering → Partner widgets → Developers. Read the API reference.
